helena keyhole top

this was an inspired from @loupystudio's keyhole top!! it's been on my to-make list ever since i learnt how to knit, and my hands were so itchy one day i decided to pick up the closest yarn that i saw. i realised it's been a while since i made anything that's blue in colour, especially something that's on the darker blue side so i got working! for the sleeves i decided to go with something asymmetrical as i wanted to wear it this top at portola, which might be cold. i always hate hate hateee doing sleeves but i decided to use my friend's sentro knitting machine to knit a panel! and that actually went pretty well :) it was kinda hard to get used to as it's difficult to maintain tension and also keep track of all the stitches but hey we managed to make it work! i was also really inspired by @sulkknitwear's work with using metallic elements so i got some ring binders... lmao but i thought it looked really cool hehe. all in all this project took quite a bit of yarn - it definitely was a scrappy project but i enjoyed it!
